Upper Back Pain Relief Guide
Many people had or have back pain and there are many alternatives to get rid of it. Normally when nothing else works then becomes mandatory to take medications in order to cure the pain; however we can sometime achieve relief from the pain without “poisoning” our body with medications. Upper back pain relief most of the time is used for the injuries or pain in the muscles between the shoulders. Often is felt the pain while moving the arms and neck. Usually this pain most commonly comes from pulled muscles, and such pain not only it can be very limiting but also severe. Upper back part usually is not suffering from spinal degeneration due to its structure which is designed to serve for protection and safety. In case of muscular and neurological ischemia the pain most often leads to chronic upper back pain.
Majority of people are thinking that the best and only way to get upper back pain relief is to get plenty of bed rest in combinations with medicine. Although in some cases its good, but actually doing the upper body exercises you can get rid of pain much faster. For some cases relief can come by doing arm slides, pectoral stretches and also mid trap exercise which is highly recommended for upper body part. For mid trap exercise you need to lie down on your stomach preferably on hard surface .Pillow under your chest, and hold arms at 90 degrees angle from your body. In this position gently, raise your arms towards up, touch or try to touch your shoulder blades. It is recommendable to repeat this action for 15 -20 times. Another exercise to try is rowing exercise. For this we will require exercise bands. Fix or anchor the bands, and hold in each hand one band. Forearms should remain vertical while you are sitting on the chair. You should bend your elbows at 90 degrees and try to level with your shoulder, then pulling bands towards you and press your shoulders together. Try to do the 3 sets of 10.Performing some of this exercises can lead to significant results, and the best thing is that these exercises are not difficult to perform. It is important to perform them on regular basis and preferably before and after doing any physical activity so we can loosen muscle tissue to relief tension and pressure on upper back. Normally if you are injured and maybe having other health issues that might limit your ability to do these exercises you will have to speak with your doctor first, and get approval from him. There are many alternative therapies but with patience, collaboration with your doctor and good research you will find your back pain relief.
